Blood tests for tumor markers, general and biochemical are used only to monitor the condition of a patient with an already established diagnosis. In addition to malignant neoplasms, benign tumors, cysts, diffuse fibroadenomatosis and inflammatory diseases (mastitis) can be diagnosed during an examination by a mammologist-oncologist.
