Operative treatment of oncoproctological diseases

Surgical treatment of rectal cancer, in addition to standard surgical interventions (abdominal-perineal extirpation, abdominal-anal resection, anterior rectal resection), also includes transanal endoscopic microsurgical (TEM) removal of the tumor when it is localized in the distal parts of the rectum.
